Kim is one of three jack-of-all trades on the Musiqtone staff, doing interviews, reviews, writing features, and finding underground and indie talent on various mediums like Myspace. Her assignments has taken her from the indie with Arden Kaywin to the big names, reviewing JoJo's sophomore effort and interviewing Tyler Hilton on site in Boston in 2006. Her most recent plum assignment took her to outside Boston to interview hot and rising pop stars Jonas Brothers before taking the stage opening for Jesse McCartney.
Kimberly Kaminske was born March 25, 1988 in Lynn, MA. For the first year of her life she lived in Salem, MA until moving to Byfield, MA where she is currently located. Kim is 18 years old on a senior at Triton Regional High School. After high school Kimberly plans on attending college (unknown at this point in time) to major in business managment learning skills that will allow her to open a club one day. Kimberly loves going to concerts and discovering new music, nothing that has ever been heard before. She wants to open a club so she can help new artists share their music with the world.
Kim's taste in music varies from Fall Out Boy to Britney Spears and The Click Five. Although Kim admitts there is nthing better than the smooth sounds of artists like Tyler Hilton, Teddy Geiger or Hanson. Kim has always been connected to music. She has been involved in her schools Select Choir since 5th grade and performs in all of the school musicals. She also has been part of the school band since 3rd grade playing both the flute and the alot saxaphone. Kim is currently teaching herself the piano and guitar, hoping to write her own music one day. Kimberly hopes to gain experiences here at Musiqtone that will help carry her through the music industry as she enters the "real world".
