Krystal was recently tabbed as the new New Artists columnist and interviewer, following the departure of Erica Hahn to the executive team at Musiqtone. She will be finding new artists, writing features, and interview both indie and major-label artists.
Her biggest contribution to date is putting teen pop star JoJo on the Musiqtone hot seat for a one-on-one during the first week of her album release. |
Krystal McBride was born on November 17, 1990, to her mother Helaine and father Tommy. At the time of her birth, Krystal had two brothers, James and Anthony. Then four years later, her sister, Sophia came along. She grew up most of her childhood in Aurora, Illinois, and at the age of 10 moved to Woodridge, Illinois; not too far from Aurora.
Currently she is a high school student, soon to be a sophomore. She attends Downers Grove South high school in Downers Grove, Illinois. Krystal is like an average teen, she loves music, hanging out with friends, and at times, being lazy at home. But besides from that she is a hard worker, and dedicated to anything that she starts.
She is glad to be apart of the Musiqtone staff, because she's being apart of something that she enjoys and couldn't do without; and that is music. |
