Michelle was born on August 28th 1985 just outside of West Chester, Pennsylvania and had lived in the small town of West Grove for the first eighteen years of her life.
After graduating from Avon Grove High School in 2004, Michelle moved from the familiarity of her home town to Wilmington, North Carolina to attend The University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Almost 500 miles from home and completely on her own for the first time in her life she began to pursue her dream of becoming a writer.
Not only does Michelle have a passion for writing, but for as long as she can remember music has always been a large part in her life. Her mother, born in Venezuela, had been helped through Beatles lyrics to learn English (hence the inspiration for the name “Michelle”).
From country music to hip hop, Michelle enjoys just about every genre of music there is. Some of her favorites include; The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Hanson, George Strait, The Used, The Smashing Pumpkins, Jack’s Mannequin, Alabama, Blink 182, Mayday Parade, Say Anything, Alan Jackson, John Mayer, John Denver…and many, many more.
She will be graduating in December of 2008 with a degree in English literature and professional writing, hoping to pursue a career in writing for the music industry. |
