Samantha Cano was born July 4th, 1992 in California. Growing up in Orange County, Samantha has been exposed to all types of music genres. Although Samantha listens to a wide variety of music, Samantha has taken a special interest in the classic rock and the metal scene. Unlike most girls her age, Samantha has been going to metal concerts since her early childhood years.  With seeing over 30 concerts to date and counting, Samantha began her love for classic rock when she went to her 1st Whitesnake concert.  Ever since then, her passion for classic rock has branched into an obsession with guitar solos and head-banging.  Despite her innocent appearance, Samantha has become a frequent visitor to concerts for bands such as Lamb of God, Children of Bodom, Iron Maiden, and Motley Crue. Moreover her rocker façade, Samantha is quite a sweet, fun-loving teenager, who always carries a smile wherever she goes.

In the upcoming school year, Samantha will be a junior in high school (Class of 10). All throughout her high school career, Samantha has maintained a high grade point average and has been enrolled in the most rigorous courses.  Samantha plans on continuing her hard-work in the approaching school year with high hopes of being accepted to her dream university of UCLA.  In addition to Samantha's involvement in the classroom, Samantha also participates in numerous of her high school's sports teams, such as cross country and track. Coming from a multi ethnic family, with her father being Cuban and her mother being American, Samantha has grown up appreciating her culture. In the future, Samantha hopes to keep the ideals of metal and classic rock alive!
