We have changed the way Music Video of the Year is done. Instead of shoving 100 videos down your throat on one page and make you scroll all the way down for every of your 50 votes, we are making this VERY INTERESANTE.
We are merging the elements from Music Madness and putting it to the test with Music Video of the Year! 100 videos, 25 from each bracket/general genre:
1. Pop Bracket
2. Alt/Rock Bracket
3. Country Bracket
4. R&B/Hip-Hop/Rap Bracket
This is the dealio:
Each bracket has 25 videos. The first round goes for one week like The Countdown. The Top 4 in each bracket move on.
This is where we get interesting. Like the original Music Madness, we will go into a seeding process.. There will be two sides to the bracket, based on how the votes go will determine which genres will ultimately face each other in the right to the championship; seeding will be determined by votes and genre. We haven't determined the names yet, we got a week!!
We take this down to only two videos and only ONE can take home Music Video of the Year! |
