For fans of:  Paramore, All Time Low, blink-182, Lucky Boys Confusion, Garbage

Kansas City.  The home of music luminaries like Burt Bacharach, The Get Up Kids and yes, Puddle of Mudd.  KC was also the launching pad for David Cook, who started the band Axium in his pre-Idol days.

We may be able to add this pop-punk outfit next to that list!  They are Keep True and like their band name, they aim to bring back the sound, the energy and raw passion that drove the genre to high heights and brought groups like blink-182, All Time Low, Good Charlotte and Paramore.

The group’s debut EP Digging Up Bones went out yesterday (Friday November 16) and is described as “our attempt at trying to bring back the classic sound of pop-punk that forged the genre 30 years ago. It’s about heartbreak, holding grudges, letting go of them, and growing up.”

    Thanks for the write-up! We actually dropped a 5 track EP, ‘Deal With It’ and ‘Living’ are just the singles! The EP is available everywhere digitally!
