Some of the biggest shows in the world as well as some of the best music concerts come through Vegas each year. Here are some upcoming shows coming to Vegas in 2012.

Elton John – The Million Dollar Piano

Elton John returns to Las Vegas starting April 13th at the Caesar’s Palace Coliseum in a show called "The Million Dollar Piano." John’s last album was in 2010 but reportedly the Rocket Man is looking to release a new album sometime this year. John’s last tour in Vegas was a huge success and last October, John played his 3,000th concert. Fans can expect to hear all their favorites including "Tiny Dancer," "Bernie and the Jets," "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road," and more.

Van Halen

May 27th will see the return of Van Halen to the Sin City at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Currently, the group is touring for their 12th album entitled "A Different Kind of Truth." This is Van Halen’s first album in 14 years and this album is the first that includes Wolfgang Van Halen. Fans expect not only much of the new album being performed but many of their classic hits as well. This is a one-night only show.

Nickelback’s "Here and Now Tour 2012" will roll through Las Vegas on June 16th with a stop at the MGM Grand Arena. The band released "Here and Now" on November 21st of last year and it still cracked the top 40 for album sales for the year.

The group is the best-selling foreign band in America all-time behind the Beatles and their concerts always impress. Opening for the group are bands BUSH, My Darkest Days, and Seether.

The above is just a sampling of the groups coming through Vegas this year. Doing a quick web search will give you a lot of information on upcoming events at various casinos in the city.
